Entrance Fees in Barcelona

Barcelona has so many sites that are worth visiting, it can be difficult to choose where to start or decide which places to visit and which places to skip.

Barcelona attraction prices

La Sagrada Familia

Sagrada Familia was Antoni Gaudì’s final work, considered to be his Opus Magnum. Construction of this monument began over 100 years ago and it is currently still under way.

Sagrada Familia is one of the most popular touristic sites in Barcelona, which means you may have to queue for a long time before being able to get your tickets. If you prefer to skip the ticket-buying line, you can always buy your tickets online.

Prices start at 26€, which allows you to visit the main floor of the basilica. If you want a guided tour, this will cost you 30€. There are discounts available for students and retired people.

L’Aquarium Barcelona

Some of the most popular sites in almost any city worldwide, because they appeal to children, adults and families, are places where you can see animals. The Barcelona Aquarium is no different, being one of the most visited attractions in the entire city.

General admission prices are €21 per adult, €16 per child between 5 and 10 years old, and 9€ for children who are 3 or 4 years old. If you buy your tickets online, you will pay 2€ less per person on the Barcelona aquarium fee.

The Aquarium also offers activities that are paid separately, like diving with the sharks, which costs 300€ per person. Check out the available family packs too if you plan on visiting the aquarium more frequently.

Poble Espanyol

Known as the “Spanish village”, this tourist attraction replicates the different architecture found throughout Spain and is home to a wide range of specialist craft shops and workshops. 

Poble Espanyol is also the venue for a variety of annual events, such as the Medieval Fair, the Beergarden, and the Christmas Festival.

Tickets cost 14€ per person if you want to visit during the day, and 7€ if you prefer to visit after 8 pm. Other options are the combined ticket to Poble Espanyol and MNAC, for 20€.

La Pedrera

Casa Milà, famously know as La Pedrera, is an architectural masterpiece by the same architect who designed Sagrada Familia. The word “pedrera” means quarry which is symbolic of the way in which Gaudí used stone in the construction of this building.

Prices for visiting La Pedrera during the day start at 25€ for adults. Catalan residents can buy tickets for a reduced price. Children under 6 years old can go in for free.

There are also other options available, like the Premium Ticket, which costs 32€ per person, Gaudí’s Unseen Pedrera, for 28€, and a combined ticket that allows you to visit during the day and to catch the show at night for 45€ per person.

Casa Batlló

Casa Battló is another one of Gaudí’s famous works, located in Passeig de Gràcia. This gorgeous modernist building is also known as “the house of bones” due to the skeletal appearance of its facade.

Prices for visiting Casa Battló start at 35€ for tourists, but residents of Barcelona get two tickets for the price of one. There are discounts for seniors, students and children between 7 and 18 years old. 

There are certain touristic cards that allow you to visit Casa Battló at a discounted price. Some of these cards include the Barcelona Card, the Barcelona City Tours card, the Tourist Bus card, and the Modernist Route card.

Barcelona FC Stadium and Museum

FC Barcelona is currently one of the most popular football teams worldwide. If you are a fan, your trip to Barcelona won’t be complete without a visit to the team’s very own stadium and museum.

Live the real Camp Nou Experience which will allow you to visit the stadium, the area dedicated to superstar Lionel Messi, take a photo by the five European Cups and visit the museum for 25€ per person, or 20€ for children from 6 to 13 years old and seniors.

Children under 6 can go in for free.

Palau de la Música Catalana

The Palau de la Música Catalana is a modernist jewel located in Ciutat Vella. Designed by Lluis Domenèch i Montaner, this is one of the most important musical halls in the city, which hosts a variety of concerts all year long.

The Palau de la Música Catalana can be visited with guided tours, which cost 18€ per person for adults, 11€ for seniors, students, and unemployed people, and 10€ for those who are Catalonia residents. Self-guided tours are 14€.

Discounts are available for those holding certain touristic cards such as the Aerobus card, the Barcelona Bus Turístic card, and the Walking Tours card.

Park Güell

Located in the district of Gràcia, Park Güell is one of the most famous parks in Barcelona and another one of Gaudí’s masterpieces, created for the architect’s friend and benefactor Eusebi Güell.

Tickets for Park Güell cost 10€ per person for adults, cheaper admissions are possible for seniors, students and children between 7 and 12 years old. If you prefer to go on a guided tour of the Park, you will pay 22€ per person.
