Colmillo de Morsa

Colmillo de Morsa, whose name translates as “walrus tusk”, is a Catalan fashion brand that was founded by Elisabet Vallecillo and Javier Blanco. Their philosophy is to craft by hand rather than by machine, not unlike the Nordic traditions that inspire their designs.

The designers focus on tiny details that they use to embellish their clothing, creating outfits that combine modernity and tradition. They are great adepts of sustainable fashion, working only with European suppliers, with natural fabrics that do not use toxic dyes.

Their business ethics are impeccable, which includes guaranteeing that each person that is involved in the crafting of their products has dignified work and economic conditions.

Pinza’t

Pinza’t is a Barcelona-based environment-friendly brand created by a group of designers who make bags using 100% recycled materials such as plastics, rubber, old seatbelts or whatever they can get their hands on.

The brand was founded in 2000 by sculptors Samuel Nualart and Dolça Teruel, who got their inspiration from the NYC graffiti scene.

They wanted to create bags that were as unique the street art that could be found all around the trains and subways of the American city during the 70s.

The founders of the brand are also deeply connected to the biking world, which means most of their products are adaptable to bikes. The result is a line of products that are durable, sustainable and that make a statement.

Koetania

Koetania is a contemporary jewelry store by designer Daniel Bellido and architect Marta S. Blanco who specialize in producing tailor-made pieces.

They use only materials that were harvested using ecological methods of extraction, they recycle old jewelry, they only work with local suppliers, producing every piece by hand, and they don’t believe in mass production, practicing a slow form of commerce.

This and the beauty of each of their products makes Koetania the perfect place to find a unique wedding ring or piece of jewelry for that special someone, even if that special someone is you.
