Shiatsu is a form of physical therapy that was created in China, practiced as part of the traditional Chinese medicine. This is a technique in which the therapist uses touch, pressure and body manipulation to adjust the physical structure and balance the energy flow. This influences not only the physical body but also the psychological, emotional and spiritual parts of the patient. The main objective of Shiatsu is to support and strengthen the body’s natural ability to heal and balance itself.
