Urban Outfitters

A recent addition to the clothing scene in Barcelona, Urban Outfitters is a multinational clothing business from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With almost 50 years of history, the brand has taken over the world, having over 200 stores in countries like Denmark, France, Sweden and Canada. They currently own only one store in Barcelona, conveniently located in Plaça Catalunya. There, you will not only find cool and urban wear but you will also find a variety of outrageous books such as “Pocket Kanye Wisdom”, home decoration items and accessories.

Guess 

Guess’s worldwide success is evident in the way that almost anyone can recognize a print add by the brand. Created by Georges Marciano in 1981, Guess has become one of the most famous brands in the jeans department, though the sell a variety of clothing items. This American brand from Los Angeles, California has almost 500 stores all over the globe, including 14 in Barcelona and the surrounding areas.

Double Agent

Another brand that was created in California, Double Agent produces fashion for teens that takes its inspiration from the beach/surf/skate lifestyle. Hoodies, jeans, crop tops, all of these items can be found at Double Agent, for a price that is much more affordable than that of the brands mentioned above. Contrary to Guess and Urban Outfitters, Double Agent caters only to a female audience. Currently, there are five Double Agent stores in Barcelona, 3 on the street and 2 in malls.

Brandy Melville USA

Despite its name, Brandy Melville is not originally an American brand, but rather an Italian brand that is American-inspired. Much like Double Agent, Brandy Melville sells clothes with “beachy vibes”, while also appealing to a more romantic, vintage style. They have locations in over 40 different countries, including three stores in Barcelona.
