Galeria Safia is an all round art gallery. It focuses on mainly contemporary art, but in all it’s forms. They have many works on display, ranging from paintings and sketches, through to sculptures and photography. Here they aim to encourage collaboration between emerging artists and more established ones.
Located on Carrer d’Astúries, Andreu Marcs is a somewhat different art gallery. It features a whole array of colourful paintings and drawings, each with very powerful and vivid imagery. As soon as you walk into the place you are bombarded with powerful, stirring creations, such as his selection of charcoal nudes, amongst other oil paintings and pencil sketches. It is well worth a visit if you want a glimpse into the workings of this innovative artist.
