The Best Barcelona Lunch Specials

Although I find breakfast to be my most cherished meal of the day, lunch is noticeably everyone’s favorite meal in Barcelona. The city shuts down as businesses owners close to enjoy their beloved lunch. Restaurants open and greet you with a wonderful 3-course menu alongside great price specials. It is no wonder everyone has to take a small siesta afterward. With so many places to choose from which do you pick?

Here is a list of 5 of Barcelona’s best lunch specials:

1. Fratelli la Bufala

Lunch Special 9,5 euros

Fratelli la Bufala was established in 2003 by three brothers – Giuseppe, Antonio, and Gennaro. It is now a franchise that is recognized internationally. They offer 3-course meals or one of their authentic Neapolitan pizzas (with or without salad). The food is delicious and the staff is amazing.

2. Bar Lobo

Lunch Special 12 euros

Bar Lobo opened in 2006 by Grupo Tragaluz. Grupo Tragaluz is a family owned business that is dedicated to opening successful restaurants. Bar Lobo is just one example. It is a trendy restaurant that has various locations throughout the city. They offer 3-course tapa style meals for lunch. The quantity is small but the flavors are amazing. I personally recommend their oyster soup.

3. La Rosa Negra

Lunch Special 9 euros

Take joy in this authentic Mexican style lunch for under 10 euros. As soon as you walk into La Rosa Negra you are instantly transported to Mexico. The decorations and employees create a fun and delightful atmosphere. They serve tacos, burritos, enchiladas, chips and guac, quesadillas and more.

4. George Payne

George Payne is an Irish Pub that is most known for its night-life. Not too many people know about their great lunch specials. You can grab a quick bite off of their menu which includes burgers, pasta, pizza and more.

5. Bo D Be

Bo D Be is a family owned Bocadillo shop by the Gothic Area.  It has fresh homemade sandwiches. It combines flavors from Greece, India, Africa and Europe. Everyone raves about this place, and for good reason. My personal favorite is the patatas bravas. Arrive early because it’s hard to find a place to sit.
