Barcelona’s flagship stores

It seems to have become a trend in Barcelona, to open flagship stores, large establishments that define themselves as the brand’s most important location, where the décor and the products mix gracefully, creating a visually appealing display. In flagship stores visitors will find a wider variety of articles than the other stores by the same brand.

Here are some of Barcelona’s flagship stores:

Desigual

Founded in 1984, Desigual quickly grew into an international brand, with more than 40 stores around the world. This clothing brand is famous for its use of strong colors and the combination of various types of fabric in one single outfit.

Located in the very center of Barcelona, at Plaza Catalunya, is Desigual’s flagship store. With a total of three floors and over 3000 square meters, this is the brand’s largest store worldwide.

H&M

Founded in Sweden during the 1940s, H&M has since become a popular fast-fashion brand sold all over the world. The stores sell clothing for men, women and children, having also a selection of accessories.

The brand has several locations in Barcelona, with its flagship store located at the number 20 of Portal de l’Angel, occupying a beautiful neo-classical building that used to serve as the main office for a Catalan gas company.

Asics

Japanese sports brand Asics opened a flagship store in Barcelona, during the summer of 2012. Founded over 70 years ago by Kihachiro Onitsuka, Asics specializes in sports clothing and accessories in the upper price range.

Asics’s flagship store is located at Avenida Diagonal, 543.

Massimo Dutti

Massimo Dutti is a Spanish brand that offers classy clothes for casual or business situations. This mid-priced brand uses quality materials to offer stylish pieces such as blazers, vests, sweaters and more.

Pronovias

On the occasion of its 50^th birthday, Pronovias opened its flagship store, an establishment with 1000 m², two floors and five different areas. Pronovias is one of the most famous bridal dresses brands in Spain, whose dresses are sold in several countries in Europe.

Paez

Paez is a fun and fresh brand of shoes that offers cool footwear for men, women and children. The brand has opened a modern and colorful flagship store, where visitors can discover tens of models of shoes and bright-colored backpacks and bags.
