Sutton

With its dramatic lighting, pulsating beats and sophisticated interior, Sutton means business for serious partygoers. It used to attract an older crowd but has now become part of the scene for those looking to rub shoulders with the gloss, glitter and glam of Barcelona. Over the years, Sutton has seen many celebrities enter its doors, including actors, sportspeople, business personalities and the like. But at its core is a drive to deliver sexy house and dance beats in a deliciously decadent atmosphere. Thursday nights tend to have a more upbeat, energetic and young vibe. Opium Barcelona

If you want the best of both worlds by heading to a place where you can ease into the night with fabulous food and delectable cocktails before joining the throngs for some cool beats, then Opium Barcelona is the place for you. It also has a great terrace where you can take a breather to enjoy the sea breeze thanks to the club’s location in Barceloneta. Opium Barcelona draws a chic and cultured crowd who come to enjoy top international DJs and artists. You’ll be joined by the masses over the weekends but there are also some great early and mid-week parties on offer, particularly on Monday nights. Opium Barcelona is at Passeig Marítim, 34.

Sala BeCool

It’s coming up to ten years since Sala BeCool starting belting out top tunes and making a name for itself as the place to go for lovers of dance music. The club’s open space is dedicated solely to a dance floor and its unpretentious and fun-loving feel can be a refreshing change compared to some of the glitz and glam of other clubs across the city. Thursdays are a good night to party hard with Barcelona’s student crowd. Sala BeCool is located at Plaça de Joan Llongueras, 5.
