If you are a fan of tea time, you will love your time in Barcelona. The city has an enormous variety of tea rooms and tea shops around town, where you can drink tea from several different countries.

Pudding

Pudding is a delightful café/tea room designed to make you dream. With pink walls, purple chairs, giant mushrooms and colorful stars, Pudding invites their customers to enjoy a good cup of tea, while feeling like they are inside of a fairy tale. The café is a wonderful place to visit with children, since it has a space where they can play games, read books and build puzzles while parents enjoy a nice, peaceful meal.

But that’s not all! As part of their concept “Eat+ Play + Think”, Pudding offers workshops on science, history and literature.

Pudding is located at Carrer Pau Claris 90, between the metro stops Passeig de Gràcia, Urquinaona and Catalunya.

Teteria

Located in the Sarria Sant Gervasi barrio, this is a special tea room dedicated to offering tea not only as a beverage, but as an experience. Teteria is inspired by early twentieth century tea rooms in China, specializing in Chinese and Japanese teas. Each tea is prepared by a staff member next to the customers so they can observe de process, served without sugar to preserve the infusion’s original taste. Teteria offers a large variety of teas, such as Green Tea from China, Green Tea from Japan, Oolong Tea, White Tea, Yellow Tea, Black Tea, Pu’Erh Tea and Art-Tea. If you fall in love with a particular tea during your visit, you can purchase it directly or through their online store.

La Fíbula

La Fíbula is beautiful Arabic-style restaurant that serves dishes from countries like Morrocco, Syria and Lebanon. La Fíbula serves a delicious variety of tea to accompany a full meal, or an afternoon snack of Arabic pastries.

La Fíbula is locatd at Carrer Blai 44, in the Poble Sec barrio.

Caj Chai

Caj Chai is a tea house specialized in importing, selling and serving the best gourmet tea in town and selling artisan tea accessories. The tea house serves 140 varieties of tea like Sun-dried Pu-erh Buds – yaBao, Jasmine pearls, Wild Purple Buds, Assam Heritage Tea Silver Needles, Silver Bud Bing Pressed Tea and Satemwa White Peony. There are teas from twenty different countries, including Brazil, Vietnam, Czec Republic and Sudan.

Caj Chai is located at Carrer de Sant Domenec del Call 12, inside barrio Gótico.
