What to Do For a Birthday in Barcelona – With Friends

If there is a great city to celebrate your birthday at, that city is Barcelona! There is always some exciting event taking place, new experiences to take part in, and great places to have meals.

Here is a list with our suggestions of cool ways to spend a birthday with friends in Barcelona. And if you’re living outside of Spain, how about a birthday trip to Barcelona?

 

What to do for a birthday in Barcelona

Enjoying a meal

One of the three establishments owned by Cup & Cake, called Brunch and Cake By The Sea, is a hip restaurant/café that offers some of the same dishes and desserts that are offered by Cup & Cake.

Brunch & Cake’s modern and beachy decorations make it the perfect place to have a birthday meal with a group of friends and enjoy some of the most creative and colorful dishes in the city.

Pointing guns at each other

Play Point is an entertainment center and the perfect location for a birthday celebration in Barcelona for those who enjoy action and adventure games.

At Play Point you can choose between playing a couple of rounds of paintball or laser tag, a variation of paintball that is played in the dark, with laser guns, and that was made famous by the character Barney Stinson on the hit TV series “How I met your mother”. 

Play Point is located at Carrer de Comte Borel, 88.

Walking on air

If you would like to spend your birthday high up, then head off to Sant Martí, where you will find Bosc Urbà, an adventure park located in the middle of the city.

Spend a couple of hours away from the ground, hanging from zip lines, climbing up nets and stepping on suspension bridges with your friends and enjoying your special day.

On the sea

Barcelona is an excellent location for a day of boating. The city has such a wonderful weather, peaceful sea and beautiful coast that it is no wonder that boat rentals are among the top touristic activities in the city.

Escape Games are a type of physical adventure game in which the participants are locked inside a room, having to use the elements they find in that room to solve mysteries and puzzles to be able to get out.

Also known as Room Escape, this sort of entertainment can have a number of different themes and can usually be played in English or Spanish in Barcelona.

Jumping up and down

If you like jumping, you will love the Indoor Jumping Club, an indoor trampoline park where you can spend an extremely fun afternoon with friends celebrating your birthday.

The park is open every day of the week and prices start 3,50€ per person for 15 minutes. The Indoor Jumping Club is located at Carrer del Perú, 162.
