Maisons du Monde is a chain of home decoration stores that was founded in France in 1990. The stores sell a collection of items that fit a variety of styles, be it classical, eccentric or romantic. At Maisons du Monde visitor can find faux-fur blankets, knitted blankets, and wool blankets. It is probably one of the best home decoration stores in the city for blanket shopping since it carries a large variety to choose from.

Zara Home is a new division of the famous Spanish clothing brand Zara. Zara Home has a very polished style, offering products like sheets, carpets, picture frames and other home decoration and daily use items. In line with the store’s discreet and sensible style, Zara Home sells blankets made out of quality materials, like cotton and acrylic, in colors like beige, gray, and caramel.

Primark is an Irish clothing retailer that was founded in Dublin in June of 1969. The brand sells contemporary fast fashion at incredibly low prices, attracting millions of customers every year. Among Primark’s products is a collection of soft blankets in pleasant colors. If you decide to pay a visit to Primark to try and find a new blanket, try to make it during the week and if you can, before 5 pm, to avoid the massive crowds that clog up the store during “rush hour”, which sometimes causes large lines to enter the store.

One of the most famous home decoration stores in the world, Ikea offers items for all of the rooms in the house at very affordable prices. Ikea has a lot to offer in the blanket department, with choices for those who like prints and those who prefer a single color. If you are going to Ikea for a new blanket, be prepared to come out with a lot more items in your shopping cart. The brand’s stores are cleverly designed in a maze-like fashion, which makes the customers have to walk through the entire store to find the section which sells the item they are looking for, allowing them to fall in love with some other of their great products and decide to take them home.
