I’ll start with the oldest. Located on Passeig del Born, Bar Berimbau is one for the more mature of customers. They have live bands who play lots of Bossa nova, as well as other Brazilian styles. The décor is simple yet cosy and welcoming, and they also have a great selection of spirits on offer.
Bar Ámbar is Located on Carrer de Sant Pau in El Raval, and very proud of it too! They have pictures all over the walls which let you know just where you are. The place is also decorated with furniture from all over the world, and has a colourful vibe. It plays host to a much younger, more modern crowd. It’s party time in the evening, but they are open for relaxing in the afternoon also, and they play mainly Bossa nova, Funk and 70’s disco.

They do feature a lot of live bands playing Cuban, Flamenco, Tango, Blues and Gypsy Jazz, but they also have a great deal of Fusion and Brazilian-themed styled music. They have music on every night of the week and are open until 5am!
Located on Carrer de Lepant, Bar Samba Brasil is a classy joint specializing in a large selection of Brazilian drinks. They stock a whole range of tropical fruit juices, plus mojitos, caipirinha and Brazilian beers. The prices are perhaps a little higher than some of the other venues, but well worth it.
