Where to find Brazilian food in Barcelona

Barcelona is a city where you can experience food from all over the world. Italian, Portuguese, Peruvian, Tibetan, Catalan… the list of flavors available has no end!

One type of cuisine that is particularly famous among those who enjoy a good piece of meat is the Brazilian cuisine.

With their famous rodizios, feijão e farofa and banana frita, the Brazilian cuisine easily conquers the taste buds of locals and visitors who always go back for more.

El Rodizio Grill

If you have ever been to Brazil or eaten at a Brazilian restaurant you are already familiar with the concept of rodízio, an all you can eat experience mainly focused on one type of food. The most famous kind of rodizio is the meat rodizio in which different waiters bring you different types of barbecued and grilled meat on a metal rod. The meal is usually accompanied by rice, feijoada and farofa.

El Rodizio Grill is open every day of the week from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 12 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays it stays open until 1 a.m.

Panela de Barro

Panela de Barro is a restaurant and tapas bar where you can find tasty treats like pão de queijo, polenta com carne seca, rabada com mandioca, palha italiana, bombom de uva ecatupiri com goiabada. Panela de Barro is located at Calle San Lluis 58.

Cantinho Brasileiro

Open from Tuesday to Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 02:30 a.m., Cantinho Brasileiro has a nice selection of Brazilian food offering dishes like feijoada e picanha, coxinha de galinha and croquete de carne. The restaurant is located at Carrer Ample 43, near the Ronda Litoral.

TN Raízes

At TN Raízes you can get a meal of two dishes for only 12,90€. The restaurant opens from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. every day except Monday, offering dishes like mandioca frita, strogonoff de frango, Canelones and an enormous variety of meat that comes with the traditional feijão, arroz e farofa. TN Raízes also offers take away service.

Sabor do Brasil

At Sabor do Brasil you can eat typical Brazilian food at reasonable prices. Here you can find yuca frita, banana frita, feijão tropeiro, sopa de mocotó, churrasco, feijão e farofa and tasty deserts like pave or cocada. The restaurant, which is located at Carrer de la Indústria 39, is open from 1 p.m. to 10:30 p.m from Monday to Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. If you feel a hankering for Brazilian food but don’t have the time to go out to eat, you can call the restaurant and make your order, since Sabor do Brasil delivers at home.
