Fnac is a French chain of electronics stores, with hundreds of locations in a number of countries around the world. There, you will find an abundance of electronic goods, books, accessories, merchandising from your favorite movies and tv shows, and more. They also sell a wide variety of video games for XBox, Nintendo and all of the different consoles.

Media Markt

Whether you want games for consoles or games for your computer, you will be ale to find a good variety of them at Media Markt, another chain of electronics. Though Media Markt doesn’t have the same charm as Fnac, which is usually illuminated in warm, inviting lights and appealing tones, there is the added bonus of variety and sometimes, a cheaper price. Media Markt stores tend to be warehouse-like, displaying thousands of electronic products in a wide range of quality and prices.

El Corte Inglès

El Corte Inglès is a Spanish chain of multi-floored department stores, in which they sell a variety of clothes, electronic appliances, home utensils, and entertainment items. In this last department, you will find a variety of video games and consoles. Keep in mind, though, that El Corte Inglès, while not being exaggeratedly expensive, tends to be the pricier of the chains we have mentioned in this article, so it pays to see if you can find your video games elsewhere before opting to visit one of these department stores.

Location: Avinguda Diagonal, 617, Plaça de Catalunya, 14, and Avinguda del Portal de l’Àngel, 19-21.

CEX

CEX is a good alternative for those who buy a large variety of video games since it handles exclusively second-hand products. This means that you can not only buy video games at a discounted price but can also sell old video games which you don’t play anymore and make some profit from it.

Location: Carrer de Floridablanca, 148, Passeig de Sant Joan, 25, and Carrer Gran de Gràcia, 11, among others.

Other options for second-hand video games include MerKjocs, at Carrer de l’Escorial, 50, and Millor Que Nou, at Calle Sepulveda, 45-47.
