Alfombras Forghani

Oriental rugs have several qualities that have made them a sought-after piece for a home. They are completely handmade and are tinted using natural dyes made with plants or minerals. Alfombras Forghani offers a selection of oriental rugs that vary in price. Pay them a visit if you’d like a more traditional rug or a central piece for a room’s decor.

When you pay them a visit make sure to get a little more knowledgeable on the differences between an oriental rug and the kilim carpet. The kilim differs as it has a much lower carpet thickness and therefore is much lighter. Also, it can be made with design characteristic not found in the traditional oriental carpets. Either way, both methods are traditional, long-standing crafts that have been admired for generations. And one fact to keep with you whilst shopping is that the use of red color in Persian and Oriental carpets symbolizes courage and beauty.

Address: Nau Santa María, 1.
