This beautiful castle was built in the 10th century . For centuries, it was used to defend the city from Arabic invasions and at one time even pirates. Today you can tour the castle and enjoy its beautiful views of the city. They also offer event space.
Beach sports
You can only imagine the number of available beach sports at hand in Castefedells. They have everything from canoeing, kite surfing, sailing, to paddle boarding, beach volleyball, and more.
Garraf Park is located on the southwest coast of Catalan uplands, known as Serralada. It is a natural park that occupies a total of 12,820 hectares of land. Even though it’s extreme conditions hinders its ability to sustain wildlife, it has breathtaking views and is definitely worth the hike.
Buddhist Monastery- Sakya Tashi Ling
This wonderful palace was built is 1890. It was founded in 1996 by the M.V. Jamming Tasha Dorje Rinpoche. Today it offers guided tours, meditation workshops, craft shops and more, for individuals, groups, businesses, and schools.
Graffiti walk
It’s quite easy to lose yourself with the spectacular beach views of Castefedells. But if you are looking to have a more urban experience, notice the works of graffiti that bring color to the gray neighborhoods. You can start with the walls along the train station.
Restaurante Amar
The number one rated restaurant in Castelldefels is Restaurante Amar. This restaurant is known for its amazing, yet affordable food. It is located a block from the ocean, on Carrer 5. Restaurant Amar specializes in seafood and intricate desserts.
Can Moyas
Can Moyas is another great seafood restaurant located in Castelldefels. Mainly known for their fish, more specifically their tuna and cod. Prices are also fairly priced. Located at Calle Estrella de Mar, 10.
