Grab a cheap bite on Las Ramblas

Las Ramblas is one of the most bustling and active areas of Barcelona, a place that any tourist must visit on their trip. Las Ramblas is full shops, kiosks, and tons of tasty restaurants, but normally these aren’t the most budget-friendly places to grab a bite to eat. If you look hard enough, however, you can find some great eateries that won’t break the bank.

Wok to Walk

Wok to Walk is located about halfway down Las Ramblas, next to the Boquería market. This little place is known for its quick and tasty stir fry made to order right in front of you. Everything is fresh and delicious, and all of the dishes are loaded with healthy ingredients so you can feel good about what you’re eating. Wok to Walk is pretty cheap, so when you’re low on cash and scouting out somewhere to eat on Las Ramblas, this is a good bet. As the name suggests, there isn’t a lot of seating so this is also a great option if you’re looking for takeout or something fast and easy.

Pans & Company

Pans & Company is a staple in Barcelona, with locations scattered all across the city. In fact, on Las Ramblas alone there are three locations that are always full of people, and for a good reason. At this cafe, you choose from a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, and desserts for a very low price. Pans & Company has a reputation for being budget-friendly and also quite tasty. There is a reason that it is one of the most recognized chains in Barcelona and that people keep coming back for more.

El Quim de la Boquería is actually located inside of the market in the heart of Las Ramblas. The market itself is a must-see for any tourist in Barcelona, so this is a great place to stay during your holidays in the city. This tapas bar is a bit more expensive than the other options but still reasonably priced if you want to try some authentic tapas and wines in a one-of-a-kind setting. El Quim de la Boquería has been serving up quality tapas and pintxos in the market since 1987 and it continues to bring back old customers and entice new ones every day.

Restaurant Maccabi

Restaurant Maccabi has been serving up Kosher dishes on Las Ramblas that are traditional and affordable for more than 30 years. While not everything on the menu is cheap, there are many plates and options that are less than 10 euros, for a good portion of food. This is also a good way to introduce yourself to customary Kosher cuisine if you have never tried it before.
