Cheapest hotels in Sarria-Sant Gervasi

Sarria-Sant Gervasi is one of the most popular areas of Barcelona among tourists wishing to base themselves within easy reach of the major attractions. The most famous sight is Tibidabo, the highest peak of the Collserola mountains and a stunning viewpoint in which to take in the mountains, city and sea.

Situated on an elevated position, slightly above other districts, the prosperous citizens of Sarria-Sant Gervasi are proud of their standing within the city.

Sarrià-Sant Gervasi comprises the old villages of Sarrià which were integrated into the city of Barcelona in 1927. Walking through the narrow streets with their thin, small houses gives the distinct impression of being in a village; a throwback to times gone by. It retains its original market: Mercat de Sarrià on Passeig Reina Elisenda, which opened in 1900, though Sarrià-Sant Gervasi is now better known for its posh houses and stylish restaurants.

Barcelona can be an expensive place to stay, especially in peak season, so if you’re looking for cheaper accommodation, here is our guide to some of the best value-for-money hotels in the beautiful and traditional district of Sarrià-Sant Gervasi.
