5th Circuit Festival in Barcelona

After five consecutive editions of the Circuit Festival in Barcelona with more than 60,000 attendees last year, we can say without a doubt that this is the biggest gay and lesbian festival in Europe. In the various parties, sports activities, screenings and lectures organized in the framework of this event, attendees from more than 50 countries are reunited to live their sexual orientation freely and have a great time in one of the most ” gay-friendly “ cities in Spain.
Events and parties are divided depending on if its audience are lesbian girls or gay male, but they also include some mixed celebrations. The program for girls begins on Tuesday August the 7th, and continues until the 13th, andon it you will find some evening entertainment (mostly) as LezzGo! Party (August 8th at Razzmatazz), the Cabaret Party (August 9th at the Berlin Cabaret), La Leche party (August 10th  at Dboy), Main Party (August 11th in the Pueblo Español) and the Legend Party (August 13th at L’Atlàntida), among others. For boys parties and  activities begin before, on August the 2nd with a big opening party, continuing with the party Kluster (on the 3rd of August in the Pueblo Español), the We Party (August 4th in Row 14) L’Atlàntida Beach Party (August 5th in L’Atlàntida), the VIP Cocktail Circuit (at the Axel Hotel on August the 10th) or the Main Pool Party (August 11th in the pools of L’Hospitalet). The most important mixed event is the Water Park Day, on August the 7th at La Isla Fantasía in Vilassar de Mar. Everything is ready for the party! For more information on other activities you can check the program here.
In these crisis times, the Circuit Festival will bring a cash injection of about 50 million euros to Barcelona, “including lodging, shopping and other expenses” and “generate up to 300 direct jobs and 600 indirect jobs.” The incrising success of this annual event which takes place in midsummer, is accredited by the presence in the line-up of internationally and nationally reputed artists such as Loreen (the winner of Eurovision Festival 2012), Vega, Offer Nissim, Vanessa Klein or  Uh Huh Her.If you visit Barcelona during the Circuit Festival or at any time of the year, ShBarcelona offers the best apartments for rent you’ll find in Barcelona.
