Places to Party in Barceloneta

Opium

Opium Barcelona is a famous club of international renown and one of the most popular places for dancing in Barcelona.

During the day, you can relax in the sun on their outdoor terrace  out on the sand.

During the night, the restaurant effortlessly transforms into an elegant and exclusive club, featuring the hottest DJ’s on the international scene, attracting a crowd full of young, glamorous and fashionable people.

The club is always packed, every night of the week, so it is advisable to go around Spanish dinner time to beat the queues and be inside by the time the music starts.

Address: Passeig Marítim, 34

CDLC

In very much the same style as Opium and located very close to it, you can find CDLC (Carpe Diem Lounge Club), considered one of the coolest clubs in the area.

During day, CDLC serves as a prestigious bar/restaurant, but by night, it becomes one of the most fashionable and extravagant clubs in Barcelona, attracting the young and rich.

It offers great music that varies in style with the days, a huge Champagne list, and plenty of cosy corners to make yourself comfortable.

Pacha

A few steps down the same road, and you will find another one of the most famous clubs in Barcelona, Pacha Barcelona, which replaced another famous old club, Sotaveto.

All three clubs are perfect for spending an elegant and sophisticated night out, but keep in mind that there are certain dress code rules, so you should dress to your best.

Last thing: If you want to avoid those pesky long queues and enjoy other benefits and discounts, you can sign up to the guest lists of the clubs.

Also, try to arrive to the club between 1 and 2am: if you arrive later, you may end up paying an expensive entrance fee which can depend on the day of the week or the guest DJ.

Address: Passeig Marítim de la Barceloneta, 32
