A bit about Codorníu

Dating back more than 450 years, Codorníu is the oldest family-owned business in Spain, as well as in the world. Since the beginning, this company has been producing some of the best wine and cava around, making it one of the most recognized names in the business. In 1551, Jaume Codorníu began growing grapes and making wine, which soon went on to become a family tradition. Fast forward to 1872 when the Codorníu family created the first bottle of cava in Spain, and the rest is history. In 1895, Josep Puig i Cadafalch was hired to design and build the winery as it is known today, and has since been named a Historical Artistic Monument.

Address: Avinguda Jaume de Codorníu, s/n, Sant Sadurní d’Anoia
