Places To Go And Dance The Night Away In Barcelona

Throughout the year the climate in Barcelona is amazing. For any couple spending time in this beautiful city will be really enjoyable. If you want to spend more than a couple of days in the city however, I would highly recommend that rather than staying in a hotel you book yourself into one of the many Barcelona apartments that are available for those who are on vacation.

Along with apartments to rent in Barcelona close to the centre, there are plenty of others that often less expensive located towards the outskirts of the city. If you are concerned about being able to get into the centre don’t be as the public transport system in this city is very good.

However if you are interested in enjoying the city’s nightlife, which it has become famous for, then renting an apartment in the centre would be your best bet. This makes getting to the various bars we look at below much easier.

The first bar we would recommend you might want to visit is La Terrazza; this particular one stays open until the early hours of the morning. Don’t be too surprised if you find yourself leaving this particular bar just as the sun is starting to rise.

The next place you may want to head too especially if you want to be able to dance the night away is Tijuana Morning Café. Usually the evening starts off pretty slowly with plenty of soul, funk and old Motown tunes being played. However if you up for it and choose to stay until after 1.30am the music goes up a notch with live rock, blues or disco being played.

If you would prefer to be able to mix it up a bit then why not head over to Otto Zutz. Situated on Calle Lincoln this particular bar is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from midnight until 6.00 am. There are three different floors to this particular nightspot. On one floor you can enjoy the tunes played by the house DJ’s or if you want to just chill out a bit then head to the floor where the music played is much funkier and softer. However if you really want to relax then head to the bar for a few drinks.

For anyone who is heavily into Techno music then the place you need to be heading for is Torres de Avila. This particular nightclub is located on Avenida Marques de Comillas. Just like Otto Zutz this nightclub opens at midnight and closes a 6.00 am. However it is only open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. The great thing you will love about this nightspot is that during the summer months you can head up on to the roof and dance the night away, whilst enjoying amazing views of the city.

Finally we come to Octopussy, and which is actually one of the most popular nightclubs in all of Barcelona. The reason for this is that unlike others they don’t charge a fee for entry, but they do expect people to dress well.
