Best dessert venues in Sagrada Familia

Are you planning on having lunch in the Sagrada Família neighborhood? This beautiful neighborhood has a lot to offer, not only in terms of culture – it is the home of the single most visited monument in Barcelona – but also in terms of gastronomy. Gaudí Bakery

Gaudí Bakery is located on Calle Sardenya, just around the corner from the basilica. They have a wide range of desserts on offer, each one perfectly crafted in order to make your mouth water. The selection of cakes is outstanding, with options such as the vanilla and strawberry being among the most popular. Prices are very reasonable, with a coffee and cupcake costing 4,75€.

Named after the famous Catalan architect, Gaudí Bakery‘s decoration is inspired by Antoni Gaudí‘s work. If you pay attention, you will even spot the famous Park Güell salamander. The staff is very friendly, providing a great service.

Xurreria Sagrada Família

Xurreria Sagrada Família is located on Plaça de la Sagrada Família. It is a small venue specialising mainly in churros. They have the traditional style served with chocolate, salted caramel, or nutella, and the churros rellenos (filled churros) which are quite unique to the place.  They also have a selection of different snacks and coffee on offer.

Buenas Migas Sagrada Familia

Buenas Migas Sagrada Familia is an Italian establishment also located on Plaça de la Sagrada Família. It is just a stone’s throw from the basilica’s exit, perfectly located for anyone who’s feeling peckish after their visit. As well as having full meals on offer, Buenas Migas provides a fast food service, selling sandwiches, cakes and other snacks. They have a great selection of sweets and yogurts that allow you to really indulge yourself! They also sell great coffee, and a selection of alcoholic drinks.
