The Tastes, Tapas & Traditions tour is a lovely way to take a walk through the city and see some of the most iconic areas and taste some of the most traditional dishes. This tour is offered Wednesday through Saturday beginning at 10 AM, lasting about 3.5 hours from start to finish. The tour begins at the Mercat de Santa Caterina where you will start with Iberian meats and cheeses before walking to El Born to do some sightseeing. The tour ends in Barceloneta where you will enjoy a glass of vermouth and then chow down on a Catalan specialty, fideuá. During the tour, your guide will tell you about the history of the things that you are seeing and the food that you are eating. This tour costs €75 per adult with discounts for children and teens.

The Barcelona Wine Tasting & Tapas Tour is quite unique because here the focus is more on learning about wine rather than food as you ramble through El Born. This tour is offered in the afternoons starting at 6:30 PM and lasts about 3 hours, stopping at different wine bars and bodegas. Your guide is a professional sommelier who knows his stuff and will teach you about wine and the history of each establishment. This tour also features delicious tapas at each stop which pairs wonderfully with the 10 wines that you will try throughout the tour. This tour is a bit more expensive at €85 per person.

Evening tapas & history tour

Lastly is the Tapas, Taverns, & History Tour that takes place from Thursday to Saturday in afternoon, starting at 5:30 PM and taking about 4 hours. You will start at Arc de Triomf and explore El Born and eventually the old Gothic Quarter, to weave through the streets and learn about the history of the area while visiting some of Barcelona’s most famous tapas bars. This tour is great for anyone that wants to learn more about the medieval history of the city and taste some of its most iconic dishes. This tour costs €99 per person and is available all year-round, excluding August. Whichever tour you choose is sure to teach you so much about the city, as well as fill your belly with delicious food!
