Les Carboneres is a small tapas joint located on Carrer Girona in Eixample that serves up Mediterranean dishes and entertainment on the side. This restaurant is noted as being different because the food is innovative and creative, and pushes the limits of modern cuisine. As of 2015, Les Carboneres has live entertainment on certain nights such as monologues, poetry readings, and concerts for you to enjoy while you dine. L’Antic de Sants is located in Plaça de Sants, an unlikely location for such a unique restaurant and theater space. Some of the stars of the menu are the paella and the snails, as well as meat dishes. The atmosphere is familiar and warm so it’s a great place to enjoy dinner and a show in an informal setting. L’Antic de Sants is divided into a bar area and a dining room, so you can enjoy a drink first at the bar and then make your way to the dining room to enjoy your dinner and the monologue.
