Dining in the dark at Dans Le Noir

Located at Passeo Picasso 10, Dan le noir? is a restaurant where you can experience a meal in complete darkness.

Some people may not realize it, but when we are deprived of one of our senses, all of our other senses are enhanced. With this concept in mind, Dans Le Noir? temporarily eliminates our eyesight, challenging us to experience food like never before. Each dish is prepared such a way as to provide a rich, savory meal which awakens both the sense of smell and taste.

A simple menu that includes a first dish and second dish or second dish and dessert costs 37,40€ per person. A complete menu, which includes a first dish, a second dish and dessert costs 42,90€. There is also the possibility of choosing the Menú Desgustación, which includes a glass of champagne, an entrée, first dish, second dish, dessert and three surprise wine glasses.

Wine game in dark

If you believe yourself to be a wine connoisseur, try playing the wine game. It may be hard to believe, but 90% of the people who try wine in the dark mistake red wine, white wine and rosé wine for one another. Trying two glasses of surprise wine will cost you 12€, while three glasses will cost you 15€.

There is also an option for those who would like to experience what is like to eat in the dark, but never have enough time to go out for a good, long meal. The Wine and Tapas Tasting is a smaller, quicker meal, in which customers can try Fantasy Tapas, Chef’s Tapas, King Fancy Tapas and Sweet Temptation Tapas combined with 3 glasses of surprise wine or 3 beverages like beer or soda.

Wine and Tapas Tasting is available from Monday to Saturday at 8:30 pm, costing 39€ per person.

Dans Le Noir? serves dinner from Tuesday to Friday at 9 pm, with arrival times at 8:30 pm, 8:45 pm and 9 pm. Fridays and Saturdays there are two dinner services. The first one is at 8:30 pm, with arrival times at 7:45 pm, 8 pm and 8:15 pm. The second dinner service is at 10:30 pm, with arrival times at 9:45 pm, 10 pm and 10:15 pm.

The restaurant has a strict arrival time policy due to the fact that there is quite a lot of preparation necessary before the dinner starts. Clients will be asked to store their personal belongings in lockers, receive a briefing of the experience, learn the safety norms, etc.

The restaurant recommends booking 7 to 10 days in advance to guarantee a spot and avoid waiting in line.
