Flamenco Festival in Barcelona

Flamenco is one of the most devoted musical genres. It is an art form, full of emotions and special techniques. It is absolutely spectacular to witness and it is deeply rooted in Spanish culture. This musical genre originates from Andalusia and it has become a must-see for tourists from all over the world, largely due to the effect of the performance of this musical show (also known as duende). There is a festival in Barcelona called Ciutat Flamenco and for just a short period of time, it turns the Ciudad Condal into the capital of flamenco. Ciutat Flamenco celebrates its twenty-sixth edition in 2019, and the roots of this musical style genre will fit perfectly in the city of creativity and innovation. It is exactly why Ciutat Flamenco has become one of the great showcases of the best flamenco artists and overall flamenco events in Spain. At Ciutat Flamenco they are used to innovating and creating new shows, to the delight of its most frequent visitors, but without forgetting newcomers, who like to see it in a more pure form. In 2019 we also celebrate the 40th anniversary of Taller Músics, and one of the events during this celebration is the First Flamenco Congress on the existence and the pedagogy of Flamenco. You can buy your tickets directly on the website and enjoy each show at the selected venue.
