Dear,
I am wirting to you representing the Desideratum movement and to inform you of our presence in Barcelona. In fact we have just created the first feminist queer tattoo and piercing studio - bookstore - art gallery entierly composed by woman for woman and friends.
We are living in a society where, unfortunatly, women are not yet fully recognized, stereotypes of perfect bodys and devaluation by gender are generated so we created a place where any woman can get a tattoo or a piercing without being judged, acquier art made by fellow women or buy books specialized in queer and feminist theories. In that spirit we opened the studio in Barcelona Borne area on the 7 th of april. It is the first tattoo studio composed only by female elements, talented tattoo artists who give a different aspect to this practice. we also have a French- English contemporary artist programming all femal only exhibitions for our art gallery as well as selecting all the books available for sale at the studio. The new Desideratum movement, with your possible help, could grow and help creat more places like it, greater visibility leading to equal rights for all women.
Best regards
