Hard Rock Cafe Barcelona

Hard Rock Cafe International, Inc. is a chain of music-themed restaurants with locations around the world.

The first Hard Rock Cafe was founded by Americans Peter Morton and Issac Tigrett in the year of 1971, in London. The establishment started by having an eclectic décor, but later it began to display music-related memorabilia.

Hard Rock Cafe had so much success in the United Kingdom, the owners decide to expand the chain. Today there are thousands of Hard Rock Cafes all over the world, including countries like Canada, Lebanon, New Delhi, Dublin, Germany and France.

Hard Rock Cafe is particularly famous for its enormous collection of rock and roll memorabilia, that has been purchased or donated by artists. Eric Clapton’s Red Fender Lead II guitar was the very first item of HRC’s collection, when the artist donated it to the restaurant in order to claim the spot he would always sit in. The collection has grown exponentially over the years having today over 80.000 items.
