It might be slightly colder than normal but there is still plenty of wonderful sunshine to enjoy. As you spend your time in Barcelona you’ll find that just a 2 or 3 days isn’t enough to really get to grips with what this city has to offer.
When you travel Barcelona offers you a very warm and inviting welcome and as a result of this, you may find that several trips to it will be needed. Plus of course it means coming back throughout the year offers you the opportunity to enjoy many Barcelona 2015 events that will be taking place.

As you do you will enjoy the shows offered by the street entertainers and buskers who are all vying for your custom. As you stroll along this wide pedestrian street there are many great cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy some really delicious food. After satisfying your thirst and hunger no visit to this part of the city is complete without spending time wandering around its open air market, not forgetting to look out for the parakeets who have chosen to make this part of the city their home.
Known as the city’s Barri Gotic, there is a maze of stress you can wander through and where it seems that time has stood still. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life whilst enjoying a glass or two of wine or beer, or even just a delicious hot chocolate then this is the place to go. As you wander through the streets look closely at the buildings surrounding you as many of the are from medieval times, whilst a few even come from when the Roman’s were in occupation.
If you want to really try some delicious local cuisine then a visit to Mama Cafe located in El Raval is a must. Here you’ll have the opportunity to sample dishes that use only organic produce in them in a building that was once home to an art gallery. However what really sets this restaurant apart from many others is the opportunity to be able to see the chefs at work creating some truly amazing culinary items that you will enjoy.
