Where to listen to Jazz in Barcelona

Feel like experiencing live music during your visit to Barcelona? Then why not going to a vibrant Jazz concert? Here are some of the venues where you can listen to Jazz in Barcelona.

Jamboree

One of the most famous Jazz houses in Barcelona, Jamboree was founded over fifty years ago, having presented performances by national and international artists such as New Orleans bopper Jesse Davis, Robert Menzel, Donald Harrisson, Melissa Aldana, Marc Azya and Felix Rossy. Jamboree offers two performances a day, every day of the year, and regular jam sessions.

Jamboree is located at Plaça Reial, 17.

Harlem Jazz Club

Another one of the city’s famous Jazz venues, Harlem Jazz Club is a great place to listen to jazz, funk, soul , blues, funk and even Flamenco and tango in the form of live concerts.

Harlem Jazz Club is located at Carrer Comtessa de Sobradiel, 8, inside the Gothic neighborhood.  

Gran Teatro del Liceu

Created in 1847, Gran Teatro del Liceu  is the oldest theatre and opera house in Barcelona. It is the most popular venue in Barcelona for Opera, but it also receives ballet performers, orchestras and concerts.

Gran Teatro del Liceu is located at Las Ramblas, 51-59.

BARTS – Barcelona Arts on Stage

Formerly known as Gran Teatro Español, BARTS is a theater located in Paral-lel Avenue. The theatre opened its doors for the first time in 1892, being renovated and changing its name a series of times over the years.  Today, BARTS presents a variety of shows, plays, and concerts for adults and children.

BARTS – Barclona Arts on Stages located at Avenida Paral-lel, 62.

Milano Cocktail Bar

Milano Cocktail Bar is a combination of restaurant, cocktail bar and jazz club, where visitor can watch live jazz and blues concerts every night at 9 pm. The venue receives national and international bands such as Magnolia, Three of a Kind, Anton Karl Quartet and Wax & Boogie.

Milano Cocktail Bar is located at Ronda de la Universitat, 35.

L’Auditori

Founded in 199, L’Auditori is one of the newest music venues in Barcelona and the city’s Music Museum. Home of the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra and the Barcelona Symphony Band, L’Auditori offers a series of concerts and musical events by Spanish and international artists and is usually one of the venues that receives concerts during the annual Voll-Damm Festival Internacional de Jazz de Barcelona.

L’Auditory is located at Carrer de Lepant, 150.

Little Italy

Little Italy is a restaurant that serves tasty Mediterranean food and a variety of cocktails, with live jazz music by bands like the Jay Walls Trio, Mike Roldán Swing Trio and Anna Luna Jazz Trio. The Jazz concerts happen every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday nights from 9 pm.

Little Italy is located at Carrer Rec, 30, in El Born.
