L’Antiga Esquerra de l’Eixample is one of the six barrios that form the district of Eixample. It’s name translates as “The old left side of Eixample”, and together with the barrio that is today known as La Nova Esquerra de l’Eixample (the new left side of Eixample), it formed the barrio formerly known simply as Esquerra de l’Eixample (the left side of Eixample).

Universitat de Barcelona
Visitors can enter the University of Barcelona to appreciate the beautiful building visiting the main hall, the noble stairway, the upper landing, the rector’s portrait gallery, the library, the paranimf and the paranimf gallery. The university also has gorgeous gardens where visitors can take a walk, stop for a rest or simply spend some time reading a book.

Cosmo
Cosmo is a café/art gallery in Carrer d’Enric Granados where people can stop for a nice snack and good conversation. The walls of the café are covered in art, painted on the walls and displayed in picture frames. You can choose to sit at one of the various tables, in the sofa in the lounge area or on the terrace, outside.

Espit Chupitos
Espit Chupitos is an internationally famous shot bar that offers more than 500 shots or “chupitos”. Visitors are in for a surprise with shots like Harry Potter, which is lit on fire, Viking, which involves a Viking hat and some severe head shaking, or Monica Lewinsky, served to the clients through a plastic phallus.
