Barcelona’s Modelling Agencies

As a teenager you might have dreamt of becoming a model in Barcelona, and although you have to compete with a large number of boys and girls to succeed, it is certainly not impossible.

Becoming a model in Barcelona

UNO was created by Spanish Javier Macías and French Michel Jouneau. They have been dedicating more than 10 years to creating and developing the most successful models. UNO has now become one of the leading modelling agencies in Spain, and they have offices in Madrid and Barcelona.

In Barcelona, UNO Models is located at Avinguda Marquès de l’Argentera, 5 in the El Born neighbourhood.

UNO Models’ philosophy is to build customer loyalty by really knowing a customer’s needs and by following a fair and honest commercial approach. This philosophy, and their young team having an eye for image and fashion, has distinguished them from others, and it has made them an important agency in Barcelona.

At the moment they represent professional models, such as Coco Rocha, Maria Carla Boscono, Irina Lazareanu, Bar Refaeli and Valentina Zelyaeva. UNO Models has also produced a few Spanish models, like Martina Klein, Laura Ponte and Carla Crombie.

Francina

Francina was started by former Spanish top model Francina Díaz in Barcelona in 1983. This was the first Spanish agency to train and represent models. Mireia Verdú, an internationally renowned Spanish model, later took over the business in 2008.

As the CEO, Mireia expanded the company by creating new departments as a response to the ever-changing modelling market, and in 2015 she also opened a new office in Madrid. Francina is currently one of the oldest agencies in Spain and represents many modelling profiles, including some of the more famous national and international models.

With more than 30 years of experience in the fashion industry, Francina is one of the best modelling agencies in Spain. A team of forty professionals provides both clients and models with a unique and personalized service, in order to achieve every objective.

Their secret is their ability to discover new faces and talents for fashion, as well as for advertising, and their values show professionalism that is practised on a daily basis. Modelling agency Francina has produced several models, such as Angelina Pirts, Pamela Tamires and Bree MccAnn.

TRAFFIC Models

TRAFFIC Models has been the leading agency in Spain for the last 14 years. It was created in 1994 by Raquel Gatell and Eduardo de Aysa, and their philosophy is purely based on experience and passion.

Some of the most important models in the fashion industry are managed by TRAFFIC Models, and among them are: Miranda Kerr, Monte Heidi, Kasia Struss, Tanya Dzhiliadeva, Anya Kazakova, Suvi Koponnen, Izabel Goulart, Julia Stegner, Jourdan Dunn and many, many more.

TRAFFIC Models has also had a big influence on the career of some of the best Spanish models, like Marina Pérez, Sheila Márquez, Marta Español and Clara Más.
