Original version films in Barcelona

Cinema in Spain is traditionally dubbed, both in theaters and on TV. This means that, in general, Spanish people haven’t a tendency to watch original version subtitled films. Anyway, local audiences that refuse to give up and miss out on the actors’ performance from the dialogue in the original language are keeping alive cinemas with subtitled films on their schedules. If you are a foreigner and you are spending some time in Barcelona for work or studies, staying in one of ShBarcelona’s rental apartments, you can go to one of the cinemas that we suggest you below. An excellent way to improve your Spanish, if you require it, and enjoy an excellent movie premiere.

Cines Renoir Floridablanca: Renoir cinemas in Spain are the reference for people to watch subtitled movies. Its central location in the Eixample district near the Plaza Universitat, makes it one of the busiest theaters in Barcelona.
