Located right next to the beach, Xiringuito Escribá is a restaurant that has the Mediterranean food culture as its mantra. It was founded in 1992 by Joan Escribá who continues the tradition of his own family, which has a past in cooking. This is a great place to eat seafood, serving one of the best paellas in all of Barcelona. The atmosphere is intimate and modern, perfect for a dinner.

Forquilla does not do paella, and Vell Poble Nou closed in December 2016 (the spot has been taken over by the vegetarian restaurant Aguaribay), maybe you should update the post.
