Friendly rentals in Barcelona that welcome pets

Taking your pet with you in Eixample

This pet-friendly penthouse is ideal for young couples seeking tranquility and modernity in a central location in the heart of Eixample in Barcelona.

A well-connected accommodation for students or workers, pet-friendly and close to the most emblematic places of Barcelona, so you can go everywhere on foot.

Important when moving to Barcelona with a pet

Of course you know your pet, its behaviour and its needs. So if your dog needs to be able to run freely for a while to lose some of its energy, make sure there is space for that near where you will be living.

Check the neighbourhood to see if it matches with not only your own wishes, but also your pets demands.

Dog beach

Barcelona has a special dog beach during the summer months. You are allowed to let your dog off the leash and take a swim together. There are showers to clean your dog’s fur after being in the salty sea, and as you are amongst dog lovers, there is a really relaxed atmosphere. This is the city’s official link to the dog beach.

Check out what parks are suitable for your dog, or take a long hike in the weekends up in the Collserola mountains. And don’t forget about pet shops and veterinarians in the neighbourhood.

Special conditions in rental contract

Make sure you know the specifics in your contract when you are bringing your furry friend with you. Sometimes a landlord wants to have extra insurrance and asks for a larger deposit.

If you leave the apartment and your dog or cat has behaved well, you will get the deposit back. This should perhaps be extra motivation to train your pet well while spending time in 2-bedroom pet-friendly apartments in Barcelona.
