Teatre Grec was designed by architects Ramon Reventós and Nicolau Maria Rubió i Tudurí, built in 1929 for the International Exposition. This open-air theatre has received several famous plays, operas, dance shows and concerts. Today Teatre Grec is mainly used in the summer for Festival Grec.

The theatre opened its doors for the first time in 1892, being renovated and changing its name a series of times over the years. Today, BARTS presents a variety of shows, plays, and concerts for adults and children.
