The official dates are: June 2 until June 4 and June 9 until June 11. From June 5 until June 8, there will be a large scale event throughout the city of Barceloan, and it’s called Primavera A La Ciutat (or Spring in the City). Concerts during these days will take place in several locations all over the city of Barcelona.

Primavera Sound Barcelona 2022 programme

Below you will find the three posters with the programme for Primavera Sound edition 2022.

Upon checking the list with musical performers, you can conclude only one thing, and that is that Primavera Sound Barcelona 2022 will be an epic festival for all those who will be there.

Who is performing in Barcelona during Primavera Sound?

As with its previous editions, Primavera Sound never ceases to surprise you when it comes to international music artists and its many different music styles. The organisation aims to provide a podium for every musical genre, and the event will therefore be an unforgettable experience.

Sometimes you come to the event for a specific band, and then you discover other bands, a solo performer or a new artist. That, of course, is the magic of music, and it is what makes this festival one that is unique in its kind.

Where to buy tickets to Primavera Sound 2022?

The first thing you should know is that tickets bought for the 2020 or 2021 edition are also valid during Primavera Sound 2022. You only have to choose the weekend that you want to join the festival. If you have a day-ticket for concerts, then this ticket will be valid for one of the main days of the music festival.

Don't worry if you are confused or unsure about your ticket, because the organisation will start contacting everyone froom May 25 and onwards to inform you about the previously mentioned conditions.

If you don't have your ticket yet and you want to buy one now, then you will have to put your name on the waiting list, because there are no tickets left for the festival

Don't panic though, because the festival organisation uses the DICE app, which protects tickets and prevents them from being transferred illegally. The app makes it also possible to claim for a refund in a legal way, if you can't make the trip this year.

Tips when visiting Primavera Sound

If this will be your first time visiting a big festival, then don't worry if you are a bit overwhelmed. There is so much to see and listen to, that this is not a strange phenomenon for first-time Primavera Sound visitors.

Besides this, you also need to take care of the trip itself if you are visiting from outside of Barcelona (or Spain), and then you need to know how to get to the event location too and how you will spend the rest of your days.

Primavera Sound, unlike many other festivals, doesn't allow for any camping on the terrain, simply because there is only space for concerts and nothing else. Our advice would be to rent an apartment in Barcelona as close as possible to the Parc del Forùm.

If you can't find something close to the event, make sure you know how to travel from your accommodation to Parc del Forùm and back again. Good public transport will make it easy to go back, shower, rest for a bit and then head out again.

As you can imagine, though, the apartments closest to the Primavera Sound terrain will be gone the quickest, so if you want to visit Primavera Sound in June and stay comfortably, make sure you have a ticket as well as accommodation.

Don't forget to download the Primavera Sound app with your ticket, access points on maps and a detailed festival programme. If you are still in the process of booking your trip, try to get here a day early. This will help you relax and absorb the lovely festival atmosphere, and you can check out all the activities in the city itself as well. Enjoy the music!
