Where to buy shower curtains in Barcelona

There is one place in the house where we go to unwind, get refreshed and perhaps sing a song or two. The bathroom, more than any other part of the home, takes precedence as a location for getting a good dose of ‘me time’.

El Corte Inglés

El Corte Inglés department store is a Spanish institution. The first of its stores opened in Madrid, it now has many stores throughout Barcelona. The one in Plaça Catalunya is perhaps the best with the latest and greatest in products across many categories. They have a selection of shower curtains on offer, from simple and traditional to colourful, unique patterns.

Casa Viva

Casa Viva literally means “Living House” and with a tagline of ‘more life to your home’, this is surely a good place to begin your search for the perfect shower curtain. Casa Viva is a chain of shops offering a wide range of household products through its network of 35 stores in Spain and Andorra.

IKEA

Old faithful. Need we say more? There is an IKEA in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat and another one in Badalona. Good luck and may the force be with you. Don’t let the maze take your attention away from what you came there to buy!

Prefer to shop online?

Another online store is Cha cha. They offer an eclectic fix for shower curtain shoppers. These are a little more pricey but worth the investment. You’ll find football, illustrative and typographic curtains to fill your hearts content.
