Sónar Festival Barcelona 2022 – When And Where

We have all taken two years to reinvent ourselves during the pandemic, but Sónar Festival Barcelona will return in its traditional format.

Although the organisation of the festival undertook several activities these last two years to survive, there was always the intention to organize the event again. It is, after all, the most anticipated music event of the summer.

Find all the details you need to know about Sónar Festival Barcelona 2022 in this article. It will be a great read and will help you start planning your trip to Barcelona.

When will Sónar Festival Barcelona take place?

The 2022 edition of Sónar Barcelona will be its 29th, and the dates on which it takes place will be the same as other years, right after Primavera Sound. The event will be on June 16, 17 and 18

The location that was chosen for the festival is the Fira Montjüic and the Fira Gran Vía. And if this is the first time you will be visiting Sónar, please be aware that there is no camping on or near the event. Sónar Barcelona is a city festival, and this means that accommodation for festival goers needs to be arranged in a different way.

So if you are contemplating attending Sónar Barcelona, or if you already have your tickets, please start organizing your trip to the city. You can find a holiday rental, which will be ideal if you want to stay together with a group of friends. If you have been to other music festivals, you already know the importance of convenient accommodation. You need it to sleep, recharge your battery, and then make the most of every day you spend in the city.
