If you’re in Barcelona this summer, you’ll certainly be able to enjoy many fun and cultural activities. Remember that not only the Catalan capital has a lot to offer, but also the province of Barcelona is worth exploring. You might, for example, tour the magnificent vineyards of the Penedès, one of Spain’s most important wine regions. Explore the best wineries and have a few tastings, in order to learn every little detail about the smell, colour and different nuances in taste. Another refreshing activity, especially with children, is to spend some of Barcelona’s hot summer days, in one of Barcelona’s public outdoor swimming pools. We can recommend the Torre de les Aigües in Eixample, the Lake of Can Dragó in Sant Andreu, and the Creueta del Coll Park in Vallcarca. The latter is in the process of being remodelled, and unfortunately we do not know at the moment of writing this article if the works that are being carried out will be completed before summer.

Another good idea is taking a stroll and visiting Barcelona’s best beach bars. We can recommend, for example, the following beach bars: Van Van Mar, located at Gavà beach. Gavà is a town situated a few kilometres from Barcelona. The food is delicious here, and it is an excellent spot to enjoy a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Vai Moiana is another beach bar that you should not miss. It is located in Poblenou. Kauai is also worth paying a visit. This beach bar can also be found at Gavà beach, and it is the ideal beach bar for tasting some good quality tapas. Salt Beach Club, on the ground floor of Hotel W, is one of the most trendy beach bars in the Catalan capital. It is located at the beaches of Ciutat Vella. Next to the town of Gavà, you can find another coastal town called Castelldefels. We can highly recommended Barracuda beach bar here. As you can see, there are many activities in Barcelona and its province, to absolutely make the most of your summer. As you will probably not do everything at once, we have made a selection of activities we think is very interesting.
