Best Tapas in Sants

Imagine that one day you find yourself in Las Arenas shopping center in Sants, and you really feel like getting tapas in the neighborhood. There are so many options, it would be helpful to get some good advice, right? Luckily, ShBarcelona has searched high and low for the best tapas in Sants and we are going to share them with you!

 

Tapas 24

Tapas 24 appears in almost every guide to Barcelona, described as a super bar where you can try some amazing tapas. Because of this, however, there tends to be a huge wait to get a table and then actually order. The most recommended tapas here are the classic cheese and ham toasties,  the scrambled eggs, and the fantastic salads.

Tapas 24 is at Carrer de la Diputació, 269.

Cucut Biz&Bar

Another great tapas bar in Sants, Cucut Biz&Bar is ideal for going for tapas with workmates and having meetings in an informal space. It boasts a very cosy environment with a fantastic terrace, the vibe of an old bodega and some top quality tapas. You can try snails, traditional Catalan offal dish callos and premium cod dishes. They even offer their own original tapas called Cucutbinat: a mix of clams, cockles, mussels, squid and tuna!

Quimet Quimet

Even more famous, Quimet Quimet is one of the legendary tapas bars in Sants. The family-owned bar offers high quality and original gourmet tapasThey also make their own fantastic craft beer and have some great wines. The great thing about Quimet Quimet is that that the key to eating tapas is to eat them standing up, and the owners of the bar understand this. We recommend that you go on a weekday and avoid peak hours because it is a small place which fills up quickly. Quimet Quimet is at

Txalaparta

You can try some fantastic Basque tapas in Sants, in  the excellent Basque bar and restaurant Txalaparta. The bar serves authentic Basque tapas made to an impressively high quality, using traditional Basque products. An ideal bar to go to with friends or for a more intimate occasion!
