Teresa Carles’ healthy food restaurants

Teresa Carles is a famous Spanish chef with over thirty-five years of experience, who has specialized in the world of vegetable and natural products. She is now the owner of a number of restaurants in Spain, having just opened her latest one, Teresa’s Stairway to Health.

Teresa Carles

Teresa Carles is the name of one of the first restaurants opened by the Spanish chef. At Teresa Carles customers can enjoy vegetarian dishes like Teresa Goes to Tokyo salad, with cucumber, daikon turnip, cherry tomato and golden tofu with sesame; Tofu and Avocado Tartar with capers, cucumber, mustard and beet sauce; snacks like Corazón Partío (Broken Heart), which are artichoke hearts with caramelized onions, mushroom and truffle oil; Tatin pie made with eggplant, goat’s cheese and figs; Cuores de Peras y Gorgonzola, pear hearts with gorgonzola cream, caramelized pear and nuts.

Teresa Carles is located at Carrer de Jovellanos 2 and is open from Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 1 am.

Flax & Kale

This flexitarian restaurant works with natural ingredients to create healthy and tasty meals like zucchini blossom salad, tempeh bagel and beet tuna tartar. They also have an amazing beverages menu that is definitely worth browsing through. You will find drinks like The Vegan Vampire, My Sweet Horny, The Frozen Pink Panther and The Rejuvenator.

The food is tasty, the staff is helpful and the restaurant’s enormous windows create a delightfully bright environment inside.

Teresa’s Juicery

Teresa’s Juicery is specialized in cold-pressed juices like Green Pacho, which has tomato, cucumber, avocado, apple, spinach, red pepper, ginger, lemon, and Himalayan salt; My Sweet Lips, which has watermelon, apple, coconut water and pineapple; and Coco Masalachi, which contains coconut water, coconut bits, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper and sea salt.

Teresa’s Juicery can be found at Carrer dels Tallers 74B, as part of Flax & Cale. It is open from 10 am to 11:30 pm every day of the week.

Teresa’s Stairway to Health

Teresa’s Stairway to Health is chef Teresa Carles’ answer to the fast food trend. Presenting itself as a “juice bar and a healthy eatery”, Teresa’s Stairway to Health serves flexitarian fast-food in the form of burgers, tacos, toasts, salads, soups and plant-based gluten-free desserts.
