Firstly, we will tell you one of the most visited theme parks in Spain and possibly in all of Europe. This is PortAventura, located in La Pineda, in the province of Tarragona. This leisurely resort offers three theme parks, PortAventura, Ferrari Land y PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park. The latter is one of the most visited water parks in the community and has multiple attractions for all ages, spaces for relaxation where you’ll almost believe you’re in the Caribbean, five restaurants of different types, photography stores ideal for capturing the happy moments with family and souvenir shops for taking home a good memory from the day.
Aquabrava is one of the most long-lived water parks in Catalonia. It offers a grand selection of activities, from relaxation areas to attractions and restaurants. It is located right on the Costa Brava, in the locality of Roses. The attractions are classified according to level of skill such as very daring, daring, easy and infantile. Aquabrava also has relaxation areas for recharging after being drained by some of the torture machines – also called attractions – at the park. Lastly, we will tell you about another one of the most visited water parks in Catalonia and the closest on our list to the Ciudad Condal. Waterworld Lloret is a well-known water park in Catalonia found in the locality of Lloret de Mar, in the region of La Selva in the province of Girona. Since the year 1985, the shouts of fearless visitors on the water slides can be heard from the park. Waterworld Lloret is frequented by international tourists that you find in the famous locality of Lloret de Mar, as well as many Barceloneses that want to spend a day with the family just an hour from the Catalonian capital. Like the rest of the water parks, Waterworld Lloret offers recreation zones, picnic areas and a variety of restaurants and bars.
