Where to wash your clothes in Barcelona

Here at ShBarcelona, we know how much of hassle it is to have to move and look for a new room or an apartment. So if you happen to find the place of your dreams but you are worried because it doesn’t have a washing machine, which you can’t afford to buy, relax! There are plenty of self-service laundry services in the city.

Bugamatic

Bugamatic is a chain of launderettes that works from 8 am to 11 pm, 365 days a year. At Bugamatic you can wash your clothes as quickly as 30 minutes, while checking your e-mail or simply browsing websites while using the free internet service. Bugamatic has washing machines of various sizes so you can wash regular clothes, blankets, curtains, tablecloths, etc. Bugamatic also has drying machines, which can be used for 4.5€.

There are several Bugamatic launderettes in Barcelona. You can find Bugamatic at Carrer de Sant Antoni Abat 5, Carrer Sant Pau 105, Carrer de Villarroel 29, Carrer d’Escuder 11, and Carrer de Sugranyes 34.

Wash’n Dry

A famous launderette chain in Europe, Wash’ n Dry offers washing machines capable of washing up to 14 kg at once, and dryers that can take up to 15 kg. Prices for washing start at 5€ per 8 kg, while the price for drying is 3,50€ for loads up to 15 kg. Wash’n Dry also offers a new ironing service.

You can find a Wash’n Dry launderette at Carrer de València 580. It is open every day of the year between 8 am and 10 pm.

LavaXpress

LavaXpress’ launderettes operate using the most advanced washing and drying appliances in the market, like the Horizon Inox SWFX74, the SC40, the SUT30N Columna, and the SUO35N by Speed Queen. There are machines prepared to take different load sizes, so that clients can wash up 25Kg at a time.

LavaXpress is the most popular launderette in Barcelona, with over twenty locations across the city, like Avenida de la Republica Argentina 38, Avenida del Parallel 101, Carrer Sant Iscle 11 (inside Mercat de la Mercé), Calle Andre Doria, Carrer de Sant Frctuós 38, Nou de Sant Francesc 5, Carrer de Maria Aguilò 69, Passeig d’Elisabets 3, Carrer del Torrent de l’Olla 157, and Travessera de Gracia 249.
