Spain is well-known for having lots of different wines. It has the largest surface area of vineyards in the world! So, it’s no surprise that in every city and town you’ll find wine bars jotted all over the place, and Barcelona is no different.

Els Sortidors del Parlament

Located in El Ravalthis quaint establishment serves up wines from all over the world, with a large selection from Catalonia itself, and all at reasonable prices. They also serve tapas and have a decent beer selection on offer, if perhaps one of your group wants something different.

Casa Mariol Wine Bar

If you are a connoisseur then this wine bar is definitely for you. Situated on c/Rosselió, not far from the Sagrada Familia, they have a large cask selection on offer. And if you would like to learn more. they also offer tasting classes. And as well as food, they also have live music stating the theory: “If wine tastes better with certain types of food, why wouldn’t it taste better according to the music?”

Monvinic

Located by Passeig de Grácia, this upscale wine bar and restaurant offers customers a chance to really indulge. With a world-renowned selection of wines which are available for tastings, you can try yours served up with various cheese, caviar or tapas dishes. A place where you can really treat yourself!

Zona d’Ombra

This Italian wine bar, referred to as an “enoteca”, is located in the Gothic quarter. They too have a great selection of Spanish wines, but focus primarily on the Italian varieties. Originally started by two friends wanting to bring a taste of Italy to the city, here you can also enjoy the Venetian aperitif, spritz, and dishes of goats cheese croquettes and Iberian ham.
